Conclusions of BACS Academy webinar "Building Commissioning, Ongoing Commissioning and Quality Management using BACS"

The webinar, featuring QUANTUM outcomes, focused on the importance to define a standardized process to effectively carry out assessment services relying on BACS

Stefan Plesser (CEO synavision) and Ole Teisen (Chief Consultant at Sweco) held the closing webinar of 2018 of the BACS Academy. The online session involved around 120 participants that had the opportunity to interact with the speakers using an interactive panel. Main focuses of the speeches were the increasing complexity in Technical Building Systems (TBS) affected by building regulations on energy efficiency and the introduction of new technologies. This causes quality risks and requires new approaches ensuring operational building performances. The risks are related to all stages of the building: pre-design, design, construction and operations. Quality Management (QM), standardised Technical Monitoring (TM) and the Commissioning Process (Cx) are key in this context.
