QUANTUM project was presented at EMEX London

December 04, 2019

In November, the QUANTUM project was presented at EMEX London – the Energy Management Exhibition for the UK. EMEX brought together leading experts, policy makers and suppliers to address energy use and carbon emissions from the building services sector. The QUANTUM tools and overarching quality management process were discussed, highlighting example results and lessons learned from the project’s demonstration buildings. The COPILOT Building Services Certification scheme was also presented, showing how the Performance Test Bench from Synavision contributes to this new Certification route.

AMEV Technical Monitoring Guidelines 2017

April 06, 2018

This official recommendation of the German government defines the process from design planning to commissioning and operation with a clear and precise tender document. It specifically addresses builders and managers of public buildings, to whom it provides informative contents about Technical Monitoring services per building phase as well as working documents for tenders’ specifications.

Evaluation of the indoor environmental quality in 10 office buildings in Greece using a post-occupant evaluation strategy based on the application of a web-based tool

An Analysis of the Most Adopted Rating Systems for Assessing the Environmental Impact of Buildings

This scientific article, published in “Sustainability” journal, analyses and compares six popular schemes for the assessment of the environmental impact of buildings: BREEAM, CASBEE, DGNB, HQE, LEED and SBTool. The paper shines a light on the implication of rating systems on building design.

The guidelines and user contracts adopted to guarantee data protection are defined in this document.

Building are unique products that are constructed individually where quality assurance and continuous improvement is a bigger challenge. This short report describes the generic process structure, approaches and tools support which will be used within QUANTUM project to tackle this issue.
